Week 8: Good News and Bad News

MOM NOTE: I got an email notification at work--on my phone--and the subject line was "This is pretty urgent".  Wait, what!?  So there was a little bit of email-chat trying to get me to figure out what she needed me to do.  Thus the Mom Response portions and her repeating sections of last weeks email.  Sorry if this is too confusing.

Sort of. Basically, I'm running into a problem with FB because I'm just gonna delete the one I've got because that's easier, but I want to download a copy of the one I've got for future reference. I have a
jump drive for it and it would be fine and dandy except I cant' remember the password to my email....and the "forgot your password" email I can't access, obviously.  I think.....if not, get on my laptop and there you'll find all my passwords.)

Then, on FB, go to privacy settings, then general, then download a copy of data or whatever it says. If it does what it did to me last week, it'll say we'll send you an email when it's done downloading.
But my problem is that I can't remember my email password. So that's why I need you to do that "forgot my password" thing. Then go to whichever email, get the password, and get that email from FB then forward that email to me. Ive got a flash drive to download it on. Hopefully, get this done asap. Thanks. Love you. So I sent this last week but didn't see anything about it in your email this week.... Could you get back to me ASAP on this? I can read emails as I get them through out the week so the sooner the better. Thanks. Love you.

MOM RESPONSE: Sent the potato recipe in package. Bank balance last Wednesday was $247. Your medical card was copied & I thought you took the copy with you. I can send sister fenn another copy directly if needed.

The Facebook thing I can't do at work. Can you really  'save' your Facebook stuff?

Can you tell me what my bank balance was before I left? Or right as I left? I wanna make sure I get everything..... Actually, could you tell me what it was when I left the MTC? That would have been on Oct 13. Then I'm gonna make sure I've got the receipts and everything so that I'm correct. And then that's it.

No, I've got a copy of the medical card. I had forgotten about it. So I'll put that in my bag just in case of emergency.

Thanks momma. I appreciate it. No worries on the FB thing. I could probably do it all myself but we're not exactly positive on what the rule is so we figure let's not do anything that could be against the rule, even if there's an exception for this FB setting up thing.

We'll be setting that up tonight around 8 or so, so as long as I've got that email before then I'll be fine. I think....we'll see. If not, we can figure it out later this week. Just whenever you get it all done.

I'm just about done with my email to you for the blog.

MOM RESPONSE: The bank balance is a little tricky. I have to set up a separate online access But to Do that i has to be during business hours. & I keep forgetting. Figure the 247 amount wad last week. What have you spent since then? Do y need more $ in yr account? <3 mom

Well I got a keyboard for this iPad which ended up being about $90 (there were none any cheaper than that) so I was just worried about getting nice boots or a coat... I couldn't remember how much I had before I left. I just wanted to double check. Was the 247 last week before or after Tuesday? Cause that's when we went to Walmart and I got this keyboard as well as some winter stuff, so it ended up being around 200 (wow, what did I do?). No worries on this though. I'm not getting boots or a coat today so I've got time. I'd look myself but I'm not sure that that is within the rules.

Thanks for responding today. I know you're not a big fan of emailing back and forth, but I think this is a worthy exception.

We had a baptism!!   JK. It wasn't ours. However, we did go to it though, and we had  invited one of our investigators, Miriam, and then arranged for a ride  for her. So she and her family came! It was awesome. We're  planning/hoping/praying to invite her this week to be baptized on a  certain date. I'll keep you posted on that as it happens.

So. I had a giant email. And it got erased. So this is all you get. Lo siento.
